Volleyball is a team sport played on a rectangular court divided by a net. Two teams, typically consisting of six players each, aim to score points by hitting a lightweight ball over the net and into the opponent’s court. Players can use any body part to hit the ball, but it must go over the net in three hits or fewer. A point is scored when the ball touches the ground on the opponent's side or they fail to return it properly. Matches are usually played in sets, and the team that wins the most sets wins the match.
