Visual disparities

Visual disparities refer to differences in the images received by each eye due to their slightly different positions on our face. This difference helps our brain perceive depth and three-dimensional space. When we look at an object, each eye captures a unique angle, allowing the brain to compare the two images and create a sense of distance and volume. This is crucial for tasks like catching a ball or navigating through space. When visual disparities are too great, such as in double vision, it can lead to difficulty in understanding depth, making it hard to perform everyday activities.
