Valley Forge

Valley Forge was a pivotal winter encampment for the Continental Army during the American Revolutionary War, from December 1777 to June 1778. Located in Pennsylvania, it served as a site where General George Washington's troops endured harsh conditions, including extreme cold, food shortages, and disease. Despite these challenges, the experience strengthened the army's resolve and discipline. During this time, the army received crucial training from Prussian military officer Baron von Steuben, which significantly improved their effectiveness.
