US government
The U.S. government is a system that manages the country through three branches: the legislative (Congress), which makes laws; the executive (President), which enforces laws; and the judicial (Supreme Court and courts), which interprets laws. Powers are divided to prevent any one branch from becoming too powerful, with checks and balances. The government also includes federal agencies that implement policies, and states have their own governments with similar structures. Overall, it serves to create laws, administer public services, protect citizens’ rights, and promote the nation's well-being.
