Unrequested Intervention

Unrequested intervention refers to situations where one party provides a benefit or service to another without being asked to do so. In the context of unjust enrichment, it arises when someone accidentally helps another person and that person gains value from it. The law holds that if the recipient benefits unjustly, they may be required to compensate the intervening party, even though the help was not solicited. Essentially, it addresses fairness by ensuring that the person who received a benefit does not get to keep it without acknowledging the contribution or effort made by the other party.
