United Nations Command
The United Nations Command (UNC) is an international military organization established in 1950 to oversee and support the defense of South Korea during the Korean War. Led by the United States, it coordinates the deployment of forces from multiple countries committed to maintaining peace and stability in the region. The UNC's role includes supervising armistice agreements, managing military activities along the Demilitarized Zone, and ensuring no hostile actions occur between North and South Korea. It functions as a neutral, cooperative entity that helps uphold the peace established after the conflict.
