Type-2 fuzzy logic
Type-2 fuzzy logic is an extension of traditional fuzzy logic that deals with uncertainty in a more advanced way. While regular fuzzy logic uses precise values to describe concepts like “high temperature,” type-2 fuzzy logic allows for a range of uncertainty by incorporating "fuzzy sets." This means it can express things that are ambiguous or not easily defined, like "somewhat hot." By considering these uncertainties, type-2 fuzzy logic can make better decisions in complex situations, such as in control systems, weather forecasting, or any field where human reasoning and imprecise information are important.
