Tycho
Tycho refers to Tycho Brahe, a notable 16th-century Danish astronomer known for his accurate and comprehensive astronomical observations before the invention of the telescope. His meticulous data collection laid the groundwork for future astronomers, including Johannes Kepler. Brahe built sophisticated instruments and documented the positions of planets, which challenged existing beliefs about the cosmos. Unlike his contemporaries, he proposed a geoheliocentric model, placing Earth at the center while positioning the sun and moon around it and the other planets orbiting the sun. His work significantly advanced the field of astronomy and contributed to the Scientific Revolution.
