Uraniborg
Uraniborg was a pioneering observatory and research center built in the 16th century by astronomer Tycho Brahe on the Danish island of Hven. It combined a large astronomical laboratory with living quarters and workshops, allowing Brahe and his team to systematically observe the stars and planets. Uraniborg's precise instruments and methods helped improve astronomical records and contributed to the transition from traditional Ptolemaic models to modern astronomy. Its design and use marked an important step toward scientific observation and data collection, laying the groundwork for future astronomical discoveries.
