Tripel

Tripel is a style of Belgian beer that is typically golden in color, strong in alcohol, and known for its complex flavors. Originating from Trappist breweries, Tripels are characterized by a fruity and spicy aroma due to the use of specific yeast strains. They usually have a smooth, slightly sweet taste balanced by a mild hop bitterness. The name "Tripel" often refers to the brewing process, where three times the amount of malt is used compared to a regular brew. This results in a higher alcohol content, generally ranging from 8 to 12 percent.
