Tribal Panchayati Raj

Tribal Panchayati Raj is a system of local self-government designed specifically for tribal communities in India. It aims to empower these communities by allowing them to make decisions about their own development and governance. Established under the 73rd Amendment of the Indian Constitution, it recognizes the unique cultural and social needs of tribal populations. Through this system, elected councils (Panchayats) at village, block, and district levels facilitate local participation in administration, ensuring that tribal voices are heard and that resources are utilized effectively for their welfare and development.
