Treatment Effect

Treatment effect refers to the difference in outcomes between a group receiving a specific intervention or treatment and a group that does not, often called the control group. It helps researchers understand how effective a treatment is in achieving desired results, such as improved health or behavior. For example, in a clinical trial, if a new medication lowers blood pressure more effectively than a placebo, the treatment effect quantifies the benefits of that medication. Essentially, it provides insight into how much of an impact the treatment has compared to not receiving it.
