Tony Hsieh was an influential American entrepreneur best known as the CEO of Zappos, an online shoe and clothing retailer. He transformed Zappos into a customer service-centric company, emphasizing employee happiness and creating a unique corporate culture. Hsieh believed that a strong company culture leads to great customer experiences. His innovative approaches helped Zappos grow significantly, eventually being acquired by Amazon in 2009. Hsieh was also involved in revitalizing downtown Las Vegas. His legacy includes promoting values of happiness, community, and entrepreneurship before his untimely death in 2020.
