Thomistic Theology

Thomistic Theology, named after St. Thomas Aquinas, is a branch of Christian thought that combines faith and reason. Aquinas believed that human reason can understand many truths about God and the universe, while revelation (in Scripture) provides deeper insights. Central to this theology are concepts like the existence of God, the nature of morality, and the purpose of human life. Aquinas emphasized that God is both simple and complex, and that understanding God can enhance one's relationship with Him. His work has significantly influenced Catholic theology and Western philosophy, promoting a rational approach to theological questions.
