Thomas Neill Cream

Thomas Neill Cream was a 19th-century Scottish-American physician and serial killer, active in England and North America during the late 1800s. He is notorious for using strychnine and other poisons to murder several individuals, often targeting vulnerable women. Cream's medical background allowed him to evade suspicion for a time, but he was eventually arrested and convicted for one murder in England. His case is remembered not only for his gruesome crimes but also for his trial, in which he infamously claimed "I am Jack the Ripper," although he was never linked to that case. He was executed in 1892.
