Theosis

Theosis is the spiritual process in Christianity where believers grow closer to God, becoming more like Christ in their character and nature. It involves transforming one’s mind, heart, and actions through faith, prayer, and participation in God's grace, ultimately aspiring to unity with God's divine life. While maintaining their individuality, believers are called to reflect divine virtues such as love, humility, and holiness. Theosis underscores the idea that humans, made in God's image, are called to evolve spiritually and be elevated into a deeper communion with God, sharing in His divine nature.
