The Theory of Relativity (Albert Einstein)

The Theory of Relativity, developed by Albert Einstein, consists of two main ideas: Special Relativity and General Relativity. Special Relativity, introduced in 1905, shows that space and time are interconnected and that the laws of physics are the same for all observers, regardless of their motion. It also reveals that as objects move closer to the speed of light, time slows down for them relative to stationary observers. General Relativity, published in 1915, describes gravity as the curvature of space-time caused by mass, explaining how objects like planets and stars influence each other's movement.
