The Style Council

The Style Council was a British band formed in 1983, led by former Jam frontman Paul Weller. Blending pop, jazz, and soul influences, the group aimed to create music with a sophisticated and polished sound, contrasting with the punk rock movement of the era. The Style Council produced several hit songs, such as "Shout to the Top" and "You’re the Best Thing," and gained a loyal following.
