The Owl

Owls are nocturnal birds known for their distinctive features, such as large eyes, a flat face, and silent flight. Found in various habitats worldwide, they primarily hunt small mammals, insects, and other birds at night using excellent night vision and hearing. Owls are associated with wisdom in many cultures, symbolizing knowledge and insight. They belong to the order Strigiformes and have two main families: true owls (Strigidae) and barn owls (Tytonidae). Their unique ability to rotate their heads up to 270 degrees enhances their vision and awareness of surroundings, making them effective predators in the dark.
