The Death of Euronymous

Euronymous, a Norwegian musician and a key member of the black metal band Mayhem, was murdered in 1993 by Varg Vikernes, another black metal musician. The killing was driven by personal disputes and tensions within the underground metal scene, involving issues of trust and ideology. Varg stabbed Euronymous multiple times, resulting in his death. This event shocked the metal community and highlighted the darker, extreme aspects of the black metal subculture.
