The Critique of Pure Reason (Immanuel Kant)

Immanuel Kant's "The Critique of Pure Reason" explores how we understand the world around us. Kant argues that our knowledge is shaped by both sensory experiences and our mind's inherent structures, such as concepts and categories. He distinguishes between "what we can know" (the realm of experience) and "what we cannot know" (things in themselves, or the noumena). This work seeks to establish the limits of reason and argues that while we can know the phenomena (the world as we perceive it), we cannot fully grasp the underlying reality that exists independently of our perception.
