Temperature Scale

A temperature scale is a system for measuring how hot or cold something is. It assigns numbers to these states, allowing consistent comparison. The most common scales are Celsius, Fahrenheit, and Kelvin. Celsius is based on freezing (0°C) and boiling points (100°C) of water. Fahrenheit sets freezing at 32°F and boiling at 212°F. Kelvin starts at absolute zero, the point where particles stop moving, at 0 K, and is mainly used in scientific contexts. These scales help us understand and communicate thermal conditions accurately across different applications.
