Tao Qian

Tao Qian, also known as Tao Yuanming, was a renowned Chinese poet and scholar of the Eastern Jin Dynasty (317–420 CE). Celebrated for his simple, sincere writing, he captured themes of nature, rural life, and personal integrity, emphasizing harmony with the natural world and living authentically. Tao Qian chose a modest rural life over courtly ambition, embodying the Daoist ideals of simplicity and harmony.
