T. rex (Tyrannosaurus rex)

Tyrannosaurus rex, or T. rex, was a large, carnivorous dinosaur that lived around 68 to 66 million years ago during the Late Cretaceous period. It measured up to about 40 feet long, 12 feet tall at the hips, and weighed around 9 tons. T. rex had powerful jaws with sharp, banana-sized teeth designed for crushing bones, making it one of the top predators of its time. Its small but strong forearms, massive skull, and keen senses helped it hunt or scavenge other dinosaurs. T. rex is one of the most famous and well-studied dinosaurs, symbolizing prehistoric power.
