Syed Ameer Ali (1849–1928) was an influential Indian Muslim scholar and reformer, known for his efforts in promoting education and social reform among Muslims in British India. He served as a prominent figure in the Aligarh Movement, which advocated for modern education to uplift the Muslim community. Ali was also a distinguished lawyer and became the first Muslim judge in the Calcutta High Court.
