Surgical Anesthesia

Surgical anesthesia is a medical practice used during surgery to prevent pain, movement, and awareness in patients. It involves administering medications, either through inhalation or injection, to induce a state of controlled unconsciousness. This allows surgeons to perform procedures safely while the patient feels nothing and has no memory of the surgery. Anesthesia is carefully monitored by anesthesiologists to ensure the patient's vital signs remain stable throughout the operation, and to manage any potential side effects. After the surgery, the patient gradually wakes up as the effects of the anesthesia wear off.
