Stop TB Partnership
The Stop TB Partnership is a global initiative aimed at eliminating tuberculosis (TB), a serious infectious disease that primarily affects the lungs. Established in 2000, it brings together governments, non-profits, and international organizations to raise awareness, improve prevention and treatment efforts, and secure funding for TB control. The partnership focuses on addressing challenges related to drug resistance and healthcare access, particularly in low- and middle-income countries. By collaborating across sectors and regions, the Stop TB Partnership aims to reduce the global burden of TB and ultimately end the epidemic, aligning with the goal of universal health coverage.
