Starwood Preferred Guest (SPG) was a loyalty program for guests of Starwood Hotels & Resorts, which included popular hotel brands like Sheraton, Westin, and St. Regis. Members earned points for staying at these hotels, which could be redeemed for free nights, upgrades, and special experiences. The program aimed to reward frequent travelers with exclusive benefits, such as late check-out and complimentary amenities. In 2016, SPG merged with Marriott Rewards, creating a larger loyalty program under Marriott International, offering even more opportunities for members to earn and use points across a vast network of hotels.
