Stanisław Mikołajczyk

Stanisław Mikołajczyk was a Polish politician and leader of the Polish peasant movement in the mid-20th century. He served as Prime Minister of Poland twice, during World War II and shortly after. Mikołajczyk aimed to rebuild Poland as a democratic and independent country, advocating for land reforms and workers' rights. However, his efforts clashed with Soviet influence, leading to political repression and his eventual exile.
