Ruch Oporu Narodowego

Ruch Oporu Narodowego, or the National Resistance Movement, was a Polish underground organization formed during World War II. Established in 1940, it aimed to resist Nazi occupation and support Polish sovereignty. The movement united various political and social groups, promoting Polish culture, gathering intelligence, and organizing sabotage against German forces. Its activities included coordination of the underground state and preparation for post-war governance. After the war, many members faced repression from the communist regime, as their goals conflicted with the new government's ideology. The National Resistance Movement remains a symbol of Polish resilience and the struggle for freedom.
