Squats

Squats are a fundamental exercise that primarily targets your lower body muscles, especially the thighs (quadriceps and hamstrings), hips, and buttocks (gluteal muscles). To perform a squat, stand with feet shoulder-width apart, then bend your knees and hips to lower your body as if sitting back into a chair, keeping your chest up and knees aligned over your toes. Once your thighs are parallel to the ground or lower, push through your heels to straighten your legs and return to standing. Squats enhance strength, stability, and mobility in the lower body and core.
