SPF (Sender Policy Framework)

Sender Policy Framework (SPF) is an email authentication technique that helps prevent email spoofing. It allows domain owners to specify which mail servers are authorized to send emails on their behalf. When an email is received, the recipient's server can check the sending server's IP address against the sender's SPF record. If the IP address is listed, the email is deemed legitimate; if not, it may be marked as spam or rejected. This process enhances email security and helps ensure that recipients can trust the emails they receive.
