Email authentication

Email authentication verifies that an email message truly comes from the sender it claims to be from, preventing fake or malicious emails. It uses special technical checks—such as SPF (Sender Policy Framework), DKIM (DomainKeys Identified Mail), and DMARC (Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting & Conformance)—to confirm the sender’s identity and that the message hasn't been altered. These mechanisms help protect recipients from spam, phishing, and identity theft, ensuring the email’s origin is legitimate and trustworthy.
