Spell slots
Spell slots are a game mechanic in role-playing games, particularly in tabletop games like Dungeons & Dragons. They represent the limited number of times a character can cast spells within a certain period, usually a day. Each spell has a specific slot level, indicating its strength and complexity. For example, a character may have several slots available for lower-level spells and fewer slots for higher-level spells. Once a spell is cast using a slot, that slot is consumed and cannot be used again until the character has a chance to rest and replenish their magical abilities.
