SpaceX (Space Exploration Technologies Corp.)

SpaceX, or Space Exploration Technologies Corp., is an American aerospace company founded by Elon Musk in 2002. Its mission is to reduce space transportation costs and enable the colonization of Mars. SpaceX designs and manufactures advanced rockets and spacecraft, including the Falcon 1, Falcon 9, and the Starship. Notably, it developed the first privately-funded spacecraft to reach orbit and has significantly advanced reusable rocket technology. SpaceX also provides commercial satellite launches, cargo resupply missions to the International Space Station, and is working on missions to send humans to Mars and beyond.
