Sociology of Generations
The Sociology of Generations studies how different age groups, or generations, experience life distinctively due to the social, cultural, and economic contexts they grow up in. Each generation shares unique values, beliefs, and behaviors shaped by historical events, technology, and societal changes during their formative years. This perspective helps us understand generational differences in attitudes toward work, relationships, and politics, as well as how these differences influence society as a whole. By examining these patterns, sociologists can better grasp intergenerational dynamics and their impact on communities.
