Six Thinking Hats
Six Thinking Hats is a method developed by Edward de Bono to improve decision-making and brainstorming. It encourages looking at a problem from six different perspectives, symbolized by different colored hats. For example, the white hat focuses on facts, the red hat on feelings, the black hat on caution or criticism, the yellow hat on optimism, the green hat on creativity, and the blue hat on organization and process. This structured approach helps teams explore issues comprehensively, balance emotions and logic, and make clearer, well-rounded decisions efficiently.
