Silvina Ocampo

Silvina Ocampo (1903–1993) was an influential Argentine writer and poet, known for her unique and imaginative storytelling. A member of the literary group known as the "Grupo de Tres," she often explored themes of fantasy, childhood, and the surreal in her works. Ocampo was also a prolific short story writer and published several volumes of poetry. Her writing style is characterized by rich imagery and a dreamlike quality, making her a notable figure in 20th-century Latin American literature. Additionally, she was part of a prominent artistic family, with connections to renowned figures such as her sister Victoria Ocampo.
