Shah of Iran
The Shah of Iran was the title of the king who ruled Iran from 1941 until 1979. His full name was Mohammad Reza Pahlavi. He was a monarchy leader who aimed to modernize the country through economic development and social reforms, often supported by Western powers. However, his rule also faced criticism for authoritarian practices, suppression of political dissent, and inequality. The widespread dissatisfaction led to the Iranian Revolution in 1979, which resulted in him being overthrown and Iran becoming an Islamic Republic.
