Sea otters

Sea otters are marine mammals found along the coasts of the northern Pacific Ocean. Known for their playful behavior and thick, soft fur, they are excellent swimmers and often use tools, such as rocks, to crack open shellfish. Sea otters play a crucial role in their ecosystem by helping to control sea urchin populations, which in turn protects kelp forests. Their fur is dense and provides insulation against cold water.
