Scottish Ministers
Scottish Ministers are members of the Scottish Government responsible for making decisions and implementing policies in Scotland, similar to how ministers in a national government operate. They are headed by the First Minister of Scotland, who is the leader of the government. Scottish Ministers oversee various areas such as health, education, justice, and transport, managing public services and legislation within their remit. They are typically elected Members of the Scottish Parliament (MSPs) and work to address the needs of Scotland's population while adhering to devolution laws that grant Scotland certain powers separate from the UK Parliament.
