Sclerotherapy

Sclerotherapy is a medical procedure used to treat varicose veins and spider veins. During the treatment, a doctor injects a special solution directly into the affected veins. This solution irritates the vein lining, causing it to collapse and eventually fade from view as the body absorbs it. The procedure is minimally invasive, typically done in an office setting, and may require multiple sessions for the best results. Patients might experience some discomfort, but recovery is usually quick, allowing them to return to normal activities shortly after treatment.
