Vein Therapy
Vein therapy, in dermatological surgery, involves treatments designed to reduce or eliminate visible veins, particularly varicose and spider veins. These veins can appear as bluish or reddish lines on the skin, often on the legs. Techniques such as sclerotherapy or laser therapy are commonly used. Sclerotherapy involves injecting a solution that makes the vein collapse and eventually fade away, while laser therapy uses focused light to target and reduce the vein’s appearance. These treatments are minimally invasive, usually quick, and aim to improve both the cosmetic appearance and comfort of the patient.
