Science and Technology Studies (STS) is an interdisciplinary field that examines how social, cultural, and political factors influence scientific research and technological developments. It explores concepts like the nature of knowledge (epistemology), the challenges of achieving true objectivity in science, and how biases can affect research outcomes. STS also analyzes scientific paradigms, or dominant frameworks that shape scientific practices and beliefs, highlighting how these paradigms can shift over time.
