Sampling Error
Sampling error occurs when a small group (or sample) selected from a larger population does not accurately represent that population. This can happen, for example, if the sample is too small or unbalanced, leading to results that differ from what would be found if the entire population were surveyed. It affects the reliability of survey results and conclusions drawn from them. In general knowledge contexts, understanding sampling error helps us recognize that not all information from surveys or polls may reflect the true views or characteristics of a larger group.
