Saint Margaret of Hungary (1242-1270) was a Dominican nun and a Hungarian princess, known for her deep faith and commitment to the religious life. She was the daughter of King Bela IV of Hungary and was placed in a convent as a child, where she dedicated herself to God. Margaret became known for her piety, humility, and charitable works, devoting her life to prayer and serving the needy. After her death, she was venerated as a saint, and her feast day is celebrated on January 18. She is considered one of Hungary's patron saints and a model of Christian virtue.
