SAG-AFTRA

SAG-AFTRA (Screen Actors Guild‐American Federation of Television and Radio Artists) is a labor union representing actors, broadcasters, and other media professionals in the United States. It advocates for fair wages, safe working conditions, and benefits such as health insurance and retirement plans. SAG-AFTRA also negotiates contracts, protects members’ rights, and promotes standards in the entertainment industry. Founded through the merger of two major unions, it ensures its members are fairly compensated and have a voice in their work environments across television, film, radio, and digital media.
