SAE J3016

SAE J3016 is a standard developed by the Society of Automotive Engineers that classifies levels of driving automation in vehicles. It defines six levels, ranging from Level 0 (no automation) to Level 5 (full automation). At Level 0, the human driver performs all tasks, while Level 5 allows the vehicle to handle all driving responsibilities without human intervention.
