Rosetta spacecraft

The Rosetta spacecraft, launched by the European Space Agency in 2004, was designed to study a comet named 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko. It traveled through space for over 10 years, eventually arriving at the comet in 2014. Rosetta's mission included orbiting the comet, studying its surface and composition, and deploying a lander called Philae, which gently touched down on the comet's surface. This allowed scientists to learn about the building blocks of our solar system and the origins of water and organic molecules on Earth. Rosetta provided invaluable data, deepening our understanding of comets and the early history of the solar system.
