Rosetta (comet)
Rosetta is a space mission launched by the European Space Agency in 2004 to study a comet named 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko. It made history by successfully landing a probe, called Philae, on the comet's surface in 2014. Rosetta collected valuable data about the comet's composition, activity, and structure, helping scientists understand more about the origins of comets and the early solar system. The mission lasted until 2016, providing insights into the potential for life beyond Earth and the formation of planetary bodies. Rosetta significantly advanced our knowledge of both comets and space exploration.
